Wild Adventures - Letter from the Vice President/GM to Guests for the 2026!

Greetings Valued Guest,

As we head into the 2026 season, I want to introduce myself and share what you can expect from Wild Adventures this year.

My name is Donald Spiller, and I’m proud to step into the role of Vice President and General Manager of Wild Adventures Theme Park. Thank you for visiting us last season. Every guest experience matters, and over the past several months, I’ve focused on strengthening the experience across the park so your next visit is even better.

Here’s what you can expect this year.

More Rides Running, More Often

We know a Wild Adventures visit starts with rides you can count on. That’s why we’ve increased our maintenance staffing and strengthened response times across the park to reduce unexpected downtime. I’m thrilled to share with you all that Island Falls, one of our most popular rides, will fully return this season with increased capacity, allowing us to get you on more rides, faster.  This off season, we’ve also added a new locomotive to the Safari Train, which means less time waiting in line to hop on board during your next visit.  We are also working on similar adjustments to rides across the park. Our goal is straightforward: fewer interruptions and more time enjoying the attractions you came here to ride.

Faster, Easier Food Experience

We are making food a more enjoyable part of your Wild Adventures experience. Prior to opening day, we’ve redesigned queue and pick-up areas at Safari Burger, Pounce’s Pizza, Sugar Shack, and Surfside Café to improve traffic flow and reduce wait times, and we've streamlined menus across these locations to make ordering quicker. Behind the scenes, we’ve added additional support from our leadership team and adjusted staffing to keep service moving during peak periods. This will put time back in your day to experience more fun at the park.

Friendlier, More FUN Hosts

The heart of Wild Adventures has always been our people. This year, we’ve increased overall staffing and expanded leadership presence throughout the park. All leaders are completing structured training focused on guest engagement and what we call Heartspitality. We’ve also invested in our hosts’ experience, including improvements to break areas and support systems, because when our team feels valued, our guests do too.

These changes are intentional. They’re based on what we heard from guests like you. Our commitment is simple: deliver a more reliable, enjoyable experience every visit. We invite you to join us for those experiences again in 2026.

And through it all, one thing remains true:

No One Funs Like Us

That’s not a slogan. It’s a standard. It’s rides, slides, animals, concerts, and simple moments that bring families together.

We’re celebrating 30 years this season, enjoying a full year of Water’s Edge, expanding animal experiences, and continuing to invest across the park. I’m confident you’ll notice the difference.

We’d love to welcome you back when we open on March 14.

Sincerely,
Donald Spiller
Vice President and General Manager

Breaking - Six Flags Further Streamlines Its Portfolio With Agreements to Divest Seven Parks!

Transaction Will Optimize the Company’s Portfolio, Sharpen its Strategic Focus and Strengthen its Financial Position by Accelerating Deleveraging

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: FUN) (“Six Flags” or the “Company”), North America’s largest regional amusement park operator, today announced it has entered into definitive agreements to sell seven of its parks to EPR Properties (NYSE: EPR) (“EPR”) for total cash consideration of $331 million, subject to customary purchase price adjustments. The transaction represents a significant milestone in the Company’s disciplined portfolio optimization strategy and is designed to sharpen operational focus while further enhancing its liquidity position.

The parks included in the transaction are Valleyfair (Minneapolis, Minn.), Worlds of Fun (Kansas City, Mo.), Michigan’s Adventure (Grand Rapids, Mich.), Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston (Galveston, Texas), Six Flags St. Louis (St. Louis, Mo.), Six Flags Great Escape (Queensbury, N.Y.) and Six Flags La Ronde (Montreal, QC). Collectively, the parks entertained approximately 4.5 million guests for the full year ended Dec. 31, 2025, generating approximately $260 million in net revenue and approximately $45 million in Adjusted EBITDA. Cash proceeds, after taxes and transaction expenses, will be used to pay down debt. On an after-tax basis, net proceeds are expected to be slightly beneficial to the Company’s leverage ratio.

“Consistent with our strategy, this divestiture enables us to concentrate our capital, leadership and operational focus on the properties that we believe generate the strongest returns and offer the greatest long-term upside,” said Six Flags President and CEO John Reilly. “Since joining the Company, I have been clear that Six Flags’ earnings power has been under-realized. This transaction will simplify our portfolio, strengthen our balance sheet and position us to execute with greater clarity and discipline.”

Reilly continued, “By focusing our resources on the parks that we believe have the highest growth potential, we expect to drive operating leverage, expand margins and accelerate our cash flow generation.”

EPR plans to partner with Enchanted Parks to run the six domestic properties and La Ronde Operations, Inc., a company owned by Kieran Burke, to operate Six Flags La Ronde following completion of the transaction. EPR will retain the right to utilize the Six Flags brand through the end of 2026, subject to certain requirements, and no significant impact on guests is expected during this transition. The parks will continue their regular operating schedules, and all season passes sold will be recognized through the 2026 operating season, including multi-park pass privileges at other parks within the Six Flags’ portfolio.

Reilly concluded, “We know how much these parks mean to our guests and to the incredible teams who bring them to life every day. Decisions like this are never taken lightly. We’re confident the parks will be in good hands with EPR and its partners, who have strong experience operating parks of this quality and scale. At the same time, this move allows Six Flags to concentrate on the parks that we believe offer the greatest opportunities for growth and long-term success. Our goal is to continue creating amazing experiences for all our guests, and this agreement helps us stay focused on that commitment.”

Six Flags said it plans to operate its remaining collection of 34 parks across 23 locations in North America for the 2026 season.

The transaction is expected to close by the end of the first quarter or beginning of the second quarter, subject to the satisfaction of certain closing conditions and receipt of third-party approvals.

Need for Speed - Schlitterbahn Unveils Wasserbahn Racers, a New High-Speed Mat Racing Attraction for 2026!

Schlitterbahn New Braunfels on Wednesday unveiled Wasserbahn Racers, a new high-speed face-first mat racing attraction debuting for the 2026 season. Designed for fast-paced competition and splash-filled excitement, the three-lane racer will headline a landmark year at the world-famous waterpark  and rolls out notable enhancements across the property. Built into the park’s natural hillside near the Comal River, Wasserbahn Racers takes advantage of Schlitterbahn’s iconic Hill Country landscape to create a visually stunning, naturally integrated ride experience.

New in 2026: Wasserbahn Racers

Developed by WhiteWater, a global leader in water attraction design, Wasserbahn Racers sends riders sprinting down a newly crafted three-lane course that builds speed through a series of dips and chutes before a signature Schlitterbahn splashdown.

Key attraction features include:
• Three-lane mat racing slide
• 278.6 feet of racing length
• 37.6-foot elevation at the start
• Top speeds of more than 24 mph
• Real-time stopwatch clock that makes Wasserbahn Racers the only mat racing attraction in Texas where guests can see their results the moment they cross the finish line
• A competitive layout built for big splashes and even bigger bragging rights

Set into the park’s natural Hill Country terrain near the Comal River, the attraction is uniquely built along the property’s sloping hillside, giving riders sweeping views and a scenic, authentically New Braunfels backdrop as they race to the finish.

A Big Year Ahead at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels

“Wasserbahn Racers will be a highlight of a big year for Schlitterbahn New Braunfels,” said Justin Loehr, park manager at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels. “Generations of families have built memories here, and the park is excited to introduce an all-new attraction while continuing to enhance classic favorites across the property. We cannot wait to see guests race for bragging rights this summer.”

2026 Park Enhancements

The 2026 season will also introduce improvements across several areas of the park, including enhancements to the resorts, Blastenhoff Tower, Han’s Hideout, the Submarine and Octopus slides, the Pirate Ship at Surfenburg and additional improvements across Schlitterbahn’s themed areas.

Unveiled With High-Speed Style

Wasserbahn Racers was revealed earlier today during a construction-site preview for media and community partners. The high-energy announcement featured an eye-catching lineup of Vipers, Ferraris and other exotic racecars, setting the tone for the park’s newest racing attraction. Attendees viewed new concept renderings and design details, and Schatze, the park's mascot, made a special appearance in race-ready gear.

Opening Day

Schlitterbahn New Braunfels opens for the 2026 season on May 2 and season pass holders will be the first to ride Wasserbahn Racers. The attraction will open to all guests shortly after.

Season Passes

The 2026 Season Pass includes unlimited visits to Schlitterbahn New Braunfels and Schlitterbahn Galveston, plus admission to all Six Flags theme parks and Hurricane Harbor waterparks in Texas, as well as Hurricane Harbor Oklahoma City and Frontier City. Guests can enjoy a full year of fun for $95, including access to major new attractions debuting across Texas. Mazda RX-7, Nissan Skyline GT-R and Toyota Supra Complete the Dynamic Ride Vehicle Line-Up for “Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift”

Mazda RX-7, Nissan Skyline GT-R and Toyota Supra Join the Dodge Charger to Complete the Dynamic Ride Vehicle Line-Up for “Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” as Universal Studios Hollywood Readies for the Destination’ High-Speed Outdoor Roller Coaster, Opening this Summer!

Universal Studios Hollywood unveils the remaining three ride vehicles joining the previously announced Dodge Charger that will comprise each of the “Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” trains as the theme park puts on final touches for this innovative, first-ever high-speed outdoor roller coaster, opening this summer.

The ride, which pays homage to the franchise’s suspenseful and meticulous choreography created for the edge-of-your-seat driving sequences, will offer guests a chance to step into one of the four ride vehicles, modeled after the cars driven by some of their favorite Fast & Furious characters in the film series, to experience the energy and thrill of the films’ street racing for themselves.

Within the load platform, the ride vehicles will be set against an original large-scale mural created by world-renowned artist Tristan Eaton. The freehand, spray-painted mural will be splashed across an interior brick wall and will depict the finale street racing scene in the original film with a montage of the aerial-bound Dodge Charger and Toyota Supra vehicles racing against a speeding train.

Included within this mural is a homage to Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto. The mural simultaneously conveys a sense of adrenaline as guests prepare to be transported into Universal Pictures’ exhilarating Fast & Furious universe.

At a glance, here is a look at the design inspirations for the four “Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” ride vehicles:

  • Dodge Charger. This iconic ride vehicle is inspired by Dominic Toretto’s signature car featured throughout the film franchise. With its sleek black frame, this souped-up, 900-horsepower, 1970 Dodge Charger is considered the ultimate American muscle car.

  • Mazda RX-7.  This ride vehicle is inspired by the 1997 model car driven by Han Seoul-oh. Featuring 19-inch wheels, racing seats, upgraded suspension and custom interior detailing, the Mazda RX-7 is considered one of the most iconic cars in the Fast & Furious film franchise.

  • Nissan Skyline GT-R. This ride vehicle is inspired by Brian O’Conner’s 2002 blue Nissan Skyline GT-R which was enhanced with extensive performance and styling modifications and is renowned for its unique appearance.

  • Toyota Supra. This ride vehicle is inspired by Brian O’Conner’s orange 1994 car featuring the legendary 2JZ-GTE twin-turbo inline-six engine. O’Conner owed Toretto a “10-second car,” and this one more than delivered on that promise. It is recognized as one of the most memorable cars in the film franchise.

“Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” will be located on the Upper Lot of Universal Studios Hollywood and is modeled after an expansive red brick, garage-like structure. It will feature groundbreaking 360-degree rotation technology designed to create a seamless sensation of drifting cars as guests spin in motion at speeds up to 72 mph, while careening along 4,100 feet of elaborate aerial track—the equivalent of nearly 12 football fields—that winds its way over sections of the theme park, including the multi-level Starway escalator that connects the Upper and Lower Lots.

This ambitious thrill ride roller coaster will benefit from Universal Destinations & Experiences’ decades-long expertise in revolutionizing the development of contemporary roller coasters across its global theme parks.

“Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” will join Universal Studios Hollywood’s slate of unprecedented groundbreaking attractions, including the interactive land, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™, featuring the critically-acclaimed “Mario Kart™: Bowser’s Challenge” ride; “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™” highly immersive land that features Hogsmeade™ village, “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™” and “Flight of the Hippogriff™ rides; “Jurassic World—The Ride; Illumination’s award-winning “The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash and “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem; Springfield, U.S.A. and “The Simpsons Ride™”; “TRANSFORMERS™:  The Ride-3D and “Revenge of the Mummy—The Ride,” as well as the theme park’s signature, behind-the-scenes Studio Tour attraction.

About Fast & Furious Saga: Over the course of eleven films that have stoked passion in an ever-expanding audience and have earned more than $7 billion at the worldwide box office, Universal Pictures’ record-smashing, homegrown Fast & Furious Saga has become the studio’s most-profitable and longest-running franchise. Across social media platforms, the fan following for the movies and cast has grown into the biggest of any active franchise. Following 2017’s The Fate of the Furious, which debuted in theaters as the biggest global opening of all time, the blockbuster franchise expanded to a multitude of offerings – from toys and video games to an animated series and the hit spin-off title, Hobbs & Shaw. In 2026, the franchise celebrates its 25th anniversary and Universal announced that a thrilling new chapter—Fast Forever—will race into theaters March 17, 2028.
