LEGOLAND® FLORIDA RESORT APPOINTS BRIAN BACICA AS PARK PRESIDENT

LEGOLAND® Florida Resort today announced the  appointment of Brian Bacica as its new Park President, overseeing all operations, guest experience, and  future expansion plans across the Resort—including LEGOLAND® Theme Park, LEGOLAND® Water  Park, SEA LIFE Florida Aquarium and LEGOLAND® Hotel properties.

Bacica joins LEGOLAND Florida Resort at a pivotal moment in the Park’s evolution. On February 27,  2026, the Resort will debut Galacticoaster, the first indoor, space-themed family coaster in the Park’s  history and the largest single in-park investment to date—launching a new era of immersive, tech forward, guest-driven expansion.

An experienced operator and business strategist, Bacica brings more than three decades of executive  leadership experience across the attractions, hospitality, and food & beverage industries. He has held  senior positions with Disneyland Resort and Universal Parks & Resorts in both California and Florida and  has led major revenue divisions, large-scale operational teams, and transformative resort expansions  throughout his career.

During his time with Universal, Bacica played a significant role in the opening of Volcano Bay, the  company’s first purpose-built water park, and helped lead the rebranding of Universal CityWalk  Hollywood—both key milestones strengthening tourism growth and destination performance.

Most recently, Bacica served as Park President for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island,  leading two of Florida’s top tourism destinations with more than 6,000 team members. Prior to that, he  served as Park President for Six Flags Great Adventure Resort in New Jersey, overseeing operational  and capital growth across theme parks and resort property, including new coasters, water-park

enhancements, and lodging developments.

“LEGOLAND Florida Resort is entering an incredibly exciting period of expansion and innovation, and I’m  honored to lead the team as we deliver on some highly anticipated Park updates,” said Bacica. “With  major investments like Galacticoaster on the horizon, we have an extraordinary opportunity to build new  experiences that spark imagination, strengthen family connections, and elevate Central Florida as a must visit destination for families. I can’t wait to continue that momentum with this talented team and bring even  more LEGO adventure to life.”

In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Bacica has served on multiple nonprofit and community  boards, including involvement with Discover A Star Foundation supporting children’s health and  homelessness initiatives. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the  University of Phoenix.
