SeaWorld San Diego Brings the Spirit of Mardi Gras Back with Festive Entertainment, Flavorful Cuisine, and ALL-NEW Family-Friendly Fun!

SeaWorld San Diego invites guests to experience the sights, sounds and flavors of Mardi Gras during a vibrant, family-friendly celebration running on select dates from January 24 through February 22. As the only family-friendly Mardi Gras celebration in San Diego, SeaWorld brings the spirit of New Orleans to life with all-new entertainment, lively parades, interactive performers and bold Cajun-inspired cuisine for guests of all ages. Guests are invited to laissez les bons temps rouler—or “let the good times roll”—with festive entertainment, bold flavors and nonstop fun.


Guests can immerse themselves in a French Quarter-style atmosphere filled with colorful performers, toe-tapping jazz, and festive fun around every corner. From high-energy parades to interactive entertainment and nighttime spectacles, SeaWorld San Diego offers one of Southern California’s most joyful ways to celebrate Mardi Gras.

 

This celebration is included with park admission and is free for Pass Members.

 

All-New Mardi Gras Entertainment and Classic Festivities and Food Await


  • ALL-NEW Live DJ, Ukulele Jesters & Fire Dance – The celebration heats up in Wild Arctic Plaza with a live DJ, the all-new musical stylings of the Ukulele Jesters, and a variety of festive food and drinks throughout the day. As night falls, a thrilling fire dance ignites the plaza with energy and excitement.
  • ALL-NEW Royal Mardi Gras Parade – Featuring colorful floats, No Bad News jazz band, singers, dancers, jesters and more, this lively parade delivers non-stop energy and good vibes along the route.
  • Live Music – Dance the day away to the lively sounds of the No Bad News jazz band, performing favorite New Orleans and Mardi Gras-themed tunes at SkyTower Lawn.
  • Mardi Gras Performers & Activities – Throughout the day near SkyTower stage, come see the talented SeaWorld performers as they show off their costumes and enjoy family-friendly activities.
  • Tunnel of Lights – For the ultimate insta-worthy moment, walk through a shimmering, Mardi Gras-music activated tunnel of over 5,000 colorful lights! Dancing is highly encouraged.
  • ALL-NEW Mardi Gras Food – Enjoy Cajun Food favorites like jambalaya, po-boy sandwiches, gumbo, those ever-popular beignets, and much more. Available at SkyTower Lawn and Wild Arctic Plaza on Mardi Gras event dates.
  • ALL-NEW Mardi Gras Drinks – Cheers to an array of New Orleans Inspired cocktails and beers including mint juleps, hurricanes, green apple frozen margaritas, Bourbon Street smash, and of course, a French 75!  Hot chicory coffee will also be available—the perfect pairing with a fresh beignet.
  • Mardi Gras Food & Beverage Sampler – Guests may choose a 5-item sampler starting at only $40 or a 10-item sampler for $60. During Maradi Gras, SeaWorld San Diego Pass Members get more for less and can purchase 12 samples for the price of 10.
