THE COUNT’S HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR RETURNS TO SESAME PLACE PHILADELPHIA WITH ALL-NEW NOT-TOO-SPOOKY FUN!

Silly, not-too-spooky fun returns to Sesame Place® Philadelphia with The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular from Saturday, September 19 through Sunday, November 1. Guests are invited to come dressed in costume and enjoy all-new and fan-favorite Halloween fun with everyone’s favorite Sesame Street friends.

All-new for 2026, guests can gather in Elmo’s Studio Theater for “Halloween Campfire Stories with Bert & Ernie.” Bert, Ernie, and their woodland friends tell not-too-spooky Halloween tales around the campfire. Featuring fun music, audience participation, and a guest appearance from Hoots the Owl, this interactive Halloween show is full of not-too-spooky fun for the whole family!

As part of The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular, guests can trick-or-treat around Big Bird’s Beach, go on a scavenger hunt through the park, and sing along to their favorite not-too-spooky shows, including “Who Said Boo?!,” “Our Street on Halloween,” and the Sesame Street Halloween Parade. Plus, guests can meet Spookley the Square Pumpkin in his Pumpkin Patch and take photos with Sesame Street friends in their Halloween costumes! Additional experiences include Pumpkin Decorating with Abby Cadabby* and the Halloween Dine with Elmo & Friends*.

Count von Count makes his grand entrance and kicks off the Halloween season in a showstopping performance!

Season Pass Members are invited to enjoy an exclusive evening at the park, plus an exclusive Season Pass Member-only Trick-or-Treat Station.

 

• Halloween Costume Contest on Saturday, October 31

This year, the park’s annual costume contest falls on Halloween! The friendly competition features a child and a family costume contest . Guests are encouraged to get creative with their most dazzling costumes for a chance to win prizes, including the chance to march in a special pre-show before the Sesame Street Halloween Parade!
