New Event - Holiday World Announces Rubber Duck Days Event!

Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari will debut Rubber Duck Days, a new family‑friendly event appearing for a limited time June 8 - 21, 2026.

The event was announced on April Fools’ Day through a video released on Holiday World’s website and social media channels. While the timing may seem tongue‑in‑bill, Rubber Duck Days is a confirmed, limited‑time event.

 

At the center of the celebration is The World’s Largest Rubber Duck, which will nest in Splashin’ Safari during the event. Standing more than 60 feet tall, Mama Duck will become a prominent visual feature of the water park throughout the two‑week run. Joining the flock will be Timmy, a 10‑foot‑tall rubber duck positioned for interaction and up-close photo moments.

 

“Holiday World is all about fun and giving our Guests new things to quack about,” said Lauren Crosby, Director of Entertainment & Events and Fourth Generation Owner. “We love to delight and surprise our Guests, and we think they’ll find Rubber Duck Days pretty unBILLievable!”

 

Beyond the playful visuals, Rubber Duck Days will feature new food items and other duck-lightful surprises, adding a fun twist to park visits. The event aligns with Holiday World’s tradition of providing lighthearted experiences—without ruffling too many feathers.

 

The announcement video released on April Fools’ Day introduces the event and offers a preview of what guests can expect. The video also recognizes two long-term Holiday World employees, congratulating them on their retirements. Dee Ann Woolems, Accounting Manager, first started working full-time at the park in 1993 and has been in several different roles. Tony Perkins, Director of Maintenance, has worked at the park since 2008. 

 

“Both Dee Ann and Tony have been huge contributors to Holiday World’s growth and success,” said Matt Eckert, President & CEO of Holiday World. “While we will miss them as colleagues, we thank them for making us better and congratulate them on their well-deserved retirements.”

 

Rubber Duck Days runs from June 8 through June 21 and is included with park admission.
